It was time for our Colour Run! We've missed the previous one, which was held last year, therefore it became a must for us to participate this year! Haha! It was damn fun! Before the run, we met at Tortoise's house for lunch - Chilli crab and some take-way food. Woohooo! Then headed to Siloso beach at about 330pm. It took us like 1 hours plus to queue for the free shuttle bus from Habourfront to Sentosa.
The aftermath of and through the run
It was kind of difficult to wash off all of the colour just with one bathe. Hmm it took me a while for the colours to go off. But it's worth it! :) Love the colours and all of us had a fun time during the race. Whole body was coloured including inside-out, shoes, clothes, teeth. Every part of our body was being coloured by different colours. HAHA! The first station was blue, followed by orange, green and pink. For every 1 km there will be a colour station. Anyway, those coloured powders are starch so we don't really have to be afraid of it going into our mouth and stuff.
After the run, there was an after-run-party. Whereby runners would gathered and dance along with the remix and latest hits. So called clubbing outdoors. We stayed and played along. Then we headed to Vivo City straight without any cleaning and washing up. Everyone at Vivo was looking at us with the ' what the hell' look in their eyes. Funny max! We could stop laughing and even wanted to purposely go close to those shoppers who were wearing white tops. Laughs! If you know what I mean. -Wink-
I can still remember that we accidentally scare a group of senior citizens. It's like we're walking behind them and the place was kind of dark so they didn't really notice that we're were coloured from top to toe. And when one of them turned, everyone got shocked and they even said 'scare me!' in mandarin. HAHA! At the point of time, I just burst out laughing cause of their reaction. Us being such assholes.
If there were to be another colour run next year, I'll definitely gonna join again! :)
